Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 2.37% or 520.0 points to trade at 22420.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.69% or 30.0 points to end at 4400.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 2.32% or 50.0 points to 2205.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 3.13% or 11.0 points to trade at 340.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.92% or 80.0 points to end at 4080.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 1.49% or 140.0 points to 9280.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.28% or 0.30 to $106.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.52% or 10.50 to hit $2007.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1203.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.53% to 3030.95, while BRL/COP rose 0.66% to 780.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 95.42.
