Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.05% or 80.0 points to trade at 2700.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.64% or 60.0 points to end at 9410.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 0.39% or 0.1 points to 25.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 1.52% or 280.0 points to trade at 18200.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.37% or 140.0 points to end at 10100.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.15% or 15.0 points to 1290.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 4 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.99% or 1.25 to $127.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.60% or 35.00 to hit $2223.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.28 to trade at $1276.22 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 3009.48, while BRL/COP fell 0.85% to 917.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.26.
