Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 0.59% or 80.0 points to trade at 13660.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 0.49% or 5.0 points to end at 1025.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.48% or 140.0 points to 29260.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.25% or 40.0 points to trade at 1740.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.96% or 0.5 points to end at 25.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.76% or 9.0 points to 503.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 8 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.28% or 1.64 to $129.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.38% or 28.50 to hit $2044.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1293.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.50% to 2999.85, while BRL/COP rose 0.95% to 933.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.16.
