Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 7.14% or 5,500.00 points to trade at 82,500.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) added 4.93% or 640.00 points to end at 13,620.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was up 4.17% or 800.00 points to 20,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG), which lost 1.70% or 340.00 points to trade at 19,660.00 in late trade. Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) declined 0.88% or 35.00 points to end at 3,965.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) shed 0.19% or 5.00 points to 2,570.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.01% or 5.17 to $252.13 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.89% or 66.00 to hit $7,384.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.50 to trade at $2,734.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.05% to 4,277.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.95% to 751.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 103.82.
