Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 6.76% or 23.0 points to trade at 363.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 4.09% or 380.0 points to end at 9680.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.77% or 60.0 points to 3455.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 5.44% or 23.0 points to trade at 400.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 2.38% or 210.0 points to end at 8610.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 2.78% or 60.0 points to 2100.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.12% or 0.12 to $101.35 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.49% or 11.50 to hit $2321.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 8.70 to trade at $1198.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.42% to 3089.55, while BRL/COP rose 1.39% to 744.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 95.35.
