Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which rose 0.39% or 80.0 points to trade at 20820.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) added 0.37% or 2.0 points to end at 540.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 15400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.09% or 15.0 points to trade at 1355.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.02% or 120.0 points to end at 11640.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 0.95% or 100.0 points to 10400.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 4 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.04% or 1.35 to $130.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.08% or 39.50 to hit $1940.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.72 to trade at $1352.02 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.06% to 2905.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.17% to 939.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 91.29.
