Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 0.91% or 90.0 points to trade at 9950.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 0.90% or 140.0 points to end at 15620.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.67% or 180.0 points to 26880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 1.87% or 640.0 points to trade at 33560.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 1.10% or 360.0 points to end at 32500.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.97% or 5.0 points to 512.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.16% or 0.20 to $125.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.19% or 4.00 to hit $2077.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.27 to trade at $1277.63 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.26% to 2944.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 940.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.28.
