Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Services, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 2.61% or 200.0 points to trade at 7850.0 at the close. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) added 1.98% or 60.0 points to end at 3090.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.69% or 1000.0 points to 60000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.03% or 0.2 points to trade at 19.3 in late trade. Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) declined 1.01% or 360.0 points to end at 35300.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.00% or 140.0 points to 13800.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 12 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.36% or 0.50 to $139.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.42% or 12.00 to hit $2843.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.47% or 5.60 to trade at $1203.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.62% to 2499.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.08% to 821.77.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 97.61.
