Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 3.68% or 2,280.00 points to trade at 64,280.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) added 2.62% or 50.00 points to end at 1,960.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was up 1.85% or 340.00 points to 18,680.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p), which lost 3.47% or 740.00 points to trade at 20,560.00 in late trade. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) declined 2.10% or 1,300.00 points to end at 60,700.00 and Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) shed 1.64% or 130.00 points to 7,820.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.93% or 5.00 to $263.55 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.51% or 117.00 to hit $7,650.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.60 to trade at $2,596.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,205.25, while BRL/COP fell 0.08% to 767.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 100.67.
