Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 1.01% or 280.0 points to trade at 28000.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 0.69% or 80.0 points to end at 11720.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.47% or 60.0 points to 12940.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 3.23% or 300.0 points to trade at 9000.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 3.22% or 80.0 points to end at 2405.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 2.65% or 35.0 points to 1285.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.11% or 4.40 to $146.00 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.62% or 81.00 to hit $3011.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.80 to trade at $1342.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.09% to 2888.78, while BRL/COP rose 1.26% to 902.55.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 94.51.
