Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.85% or 70.0 points to trade at 1890.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 2.62% or 120.0 points to end at 4700.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.58% or 160.0 points to 10280.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 3.75% or 13.0 points to trade at 334.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 2.05% or 90.0 points to end at 4300.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 1.29% or 90.0 points to 6890.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.43% or 0.45 to $105.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.87% or 41.50 to hit $2260.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.75 to trade at $1310.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 3106.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.99% to 839.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 96.148.
