Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG), which rose 1.50% or 280.00 points to trade at 18,980.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 1.30% or 90.00 points to end at 7,000.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) was up 1.13% or 380.00 points to 33,980.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which lost 6.01% or 4,960.00 points to trade at 77,540.00 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) declined 2.52% or 11.00 points to end at 425.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) shed 1.80% or 240.00 points to 13,100.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.92% or 2.25 to $247.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 32.00 to hit $6,788.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 11.90 to trade at $2,760.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.70% to 4,325.89, while BRL/COP fell 0.06% to 757.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 104.20.
