Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 1.94% or 11.0 points to trade at 579.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.20% or 180.0 points to end at 15220.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 1.10% or 440.0 points to 40440.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 1.56% or 520.0 points to trade at 32740.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.47% or 40.0 points to end at 2690.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.28% or 400.0 points to 30900.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 2.87% or 3.75 to $134.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 11.50 to hit $1917.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.41 to trade at $1260.51 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.39% to 3018.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.44% to 959.38.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 93.34.
