Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 1.42% or 25.0 points to trade at 1785.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.08% or 50.0 points to end at 4700.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was up 0.99% or 5.0 points to 509.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 3.10% or 0.8 points to trade at 25.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 2.06% or 200.0 points to end at 9520.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.93% or 25.0 points to 1270.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 8 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.64% or 0.81 to $128.03 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.47% or 31.00 to hit $2072.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.79 to trade at $1294.09 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.27% to 2985.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.44% to 924.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.82.
