Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 5.62% or 19.0 points to trade at 357.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.44% or 230.0 points to end at 9670.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 1.98% or 40.0 points to 2060.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 2.47% or 11.0 points to trade at 435.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 2.22% or 200.0 points to end at 8800.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.26% or 15.0 points to 1180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $102.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.20% or 75.50 to hit $2282.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.10 to trade at $1206.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.92% to 3028.85, while BRL/COP rose 0.11% to 729.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.62.
