Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 6.03% or 120.0 points to trade at 2110.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 5.21% or 940.0 points to end at 18980.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 2.04% or 260.0 points to 13000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.90% or 290.0 points to trade at 9710.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.57% or 860.0 points to end at 32640.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.99% or 660.0 points to 32540.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 8 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 4.36% or 4.90 to $107.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.32% or 28.50 to hit $2193.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.40 to trade at $1227.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.02% to 3237.85, while BRL/COP fell 0.32% to 837.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 97.188.
