Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.67% or 520.0 points to trade at 31720.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 1.25% or 300.0 points to end at 24300.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 0.84% or 280.0 points to 33480.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.65% or 150.0 points to trade at 5500.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 2.16% or 680.0 points to end at 30800.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 0.88% or 10.0 points to 1125.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 11 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.72% or 0.70 to $97.85 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.34% or 29.50 to hit $2168.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.00 to trade at $1199.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.09% to 2999.25, while BRL/COP rose 1.22% to 743.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 93.88.
