Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which rose 3.35% or 1,120.00 points to trade at 34,600.00 at the close. Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) added 3.32% or 400.00 points to end at 12,440.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) was up 2.96% or 2,300.00 points to 80,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG), which lost 1.91% or 360.00 points to trade at 18,500.00 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) declined 1.79% or 170.00 points to end at 9,330.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) shed 1.35% or 130.00 points to 9,470.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.72% or 4.35 to $248.00 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 4.60% or 318.00 to hit $7,235.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.14% or 31.40 to trade at $2,787.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,396.14, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 762.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.13.
