Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 3.46% or 1040.0 points to trade at 31080.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 2.20% or 700.0 points to end at 32500.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 1.94% or 640.0 points to 33680.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 3.73% or 12.0 points to trade at 310.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 2.57% or 340.0 points to end at 12880.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 2.12% or 460.0 points to 21220.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 12 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.28% or 1.52 to $117.53 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 3.55% or 76.00 to hit $2216.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.60 to trade at $1227.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.22% to 3056.60, while BRL/COP fell 0.88% to 821.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.77.
