Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV), which rose 3.39% or 400.00 points to trade at 12,200.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) added 3.27% or 900.00 points to end at 28,400.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was up 2.62% or 520.00 points to 20,360.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mineros SA (BVC:MAS), which lost 2.78% or 100.00 points to trade at 3,500.00 in late trade. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) declined 2.72% or 70.00 points to end at 2,500.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) shed 1.59% or 1,000.00 points to 62,000.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.04% or 2.75 to $266.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.09% or 84.50 to hit $7,870.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.12% or 29.60 to trade at $2,682.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,150.63, while BRL/COP rose 1.21% to 760.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 100.04.
