Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 4.60% or 520.00 points to trade at 11,820.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 1.37% or 100.00 points to end at 7,400.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was up 1.30% or 100.00 points to 7,800.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (BVC:ETB), which lost 6.25% or 5.00 points to trade at 75.00 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 5.15% or 100.00 points to end at 1,840.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) shed 4.80% or 490.00 points to 9,710.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.68% or 4.53 to $273.63 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.67% or 132.50 to hit $8,087.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 10.40 to trade at $2,695.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.11% to 4,166.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 766.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 100.31.
