Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 3.33% or 2,320.00 points to trade at 72,000.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 2.78% or 100.00 points to end at 3,700.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) was up 1.76% or 220.00 points to 12,700.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which lost 2.27% or 420.00 points to trade at 18,100.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) declined 2.13% or 440.00 points to end at 20,200.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) shed 1.86% or 140.00 points to 7,400.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.95% or 4.87 to $254.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.18% or 160.00 to hit $7,511.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 21.20 to trade at $2,647.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.51% to 4,213.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.33% to 754.68.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 102.64.
