Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Investment, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 3.34% or 1100.0 points to trade at 34000.0 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) added 1.89% or 640.0 points to end at 34500.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 1.78% or 20.0 points to 1145.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 5.19% or 20.0 points to trade at 365.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.47% or 330.0 points to end at 9170.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) shed 2.18% or 1480.0 points to 66520.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.17% or 3.15 to $102.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.78% or 59.00 to hit $2065.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.10 to trade at $1195.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.01% to 2962.00, while BRL/COP fell 2.06% to 730.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.77.
