Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 3.13% or 55.0 points to trade at 1810.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 2.01% or 600.0 points to end at 30480.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.80% or 180.0 points to 10180.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.80% or 9.0 points to trade at 490.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) declined 1.17% or 15.0 points to end at 1270.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 1.09% or 180.0 points to 16280.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.51% or 0.64 to $126.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.17% or 26.00 to hit $2188.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.78 to trade at $1287.48 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 3010.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.11% to 925.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 94.37.
