Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which rose 4.04% or 520.00 points to trade at 13,400.00 at the close. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) added 1.96% or 1,180.00 points to end at 61,300.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) was up 1.56% or 220.00 points to 14,300.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which lost 1.90% or 1,520.00 points to trade at 78,480.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 1.32% or 130.00 points to end at 9,750.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) shed 1.18% or 20.00 points to 1,680.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.05% or 5.05 to $251.00 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.34% or 98.00 to hit $7,230.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 7.30 to trade at $2,753.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,416.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.80% to 768.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 103.36.
