Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.93% or 80.0 points to trade at 2810.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.43% or 400.0 points to end at 28280.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.33% or 380.0 points to 29000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 2.35% or 260.0 points to trade at 10800.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 0.99% or 100.0 points to end at 10000.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 0.78% or 0.2 points to 25.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 21 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.14% or 0.18 to $126.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $2143.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1279.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.43% to 3015.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.75% to 920.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.86.
