Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 3.83% or 460.00 points to trade at 12,460.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) added 2.82% or 480.00 points to end at 17,500.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was up 2.73% or 560.00 points to 21,100.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 1.13% or 110.00 points to trade at 9,600.00 in late trade. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) declined 0.78% or 80.00 points to end at 10,120.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) 0.00% or 0.00 points to 1,845.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.12% or 5.55 to $256.50 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 5.12% or 390.00 to hit $8,005.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 13.70 to trade at $2,679.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.02% to 4,244.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.19% to 750.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 103.01.
