Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Public Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 1.99% or 20.0 points to trade at 1025.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.94% or 90.0 points to end at 4720.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.69% or 180.0 points to 10800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 0.38% or 40.0 points to trade at 10560.0 in late trade. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 0.29% or 120.0 points to end at 40860.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 0.28% or 60.0 points to 21540.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.79% or 2.43 to $137.98 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 2.97% or 59.50 to hit $2065.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 9.29 to trade at $1269.29 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 3001.98, while BRL/COP rose 0.09% to 957.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 93.17.
