Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which rose 7.42% or 1,900.00 points to trade at 27,500.00 at the close. Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) added 3.51% or 135.00 points to end at 3,980.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was up 3.00% or 105.00 points to 3,600.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which lost 4.46% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,500.00 in late trade. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) declined 3.31% or 2,160.00 points to end at 63,000.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) shed 1.67% or 200.00 points to 11,800.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 5.00% or 12.55 to $263.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.55% or 119.00 to hit $7,777.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 7.00 to trade at $2,653.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,162.13, while BRL/COP fell 0.38% to 751.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 100.65.
