Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Investment, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.10% or 60.0 points to trade at 2915.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.99% or 660.0 points to end at 33880.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.78% or 1240.0 points to 70740.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 1.46% or 500.0 points to trade at 33720.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.25% or 7.0 points to end at 552.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.25% or 440.0 points to 34820.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.61% or 0.78 to $128.10 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.10% or 2.00 to hit $1949.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 13.63 to trade at $1344.03 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 2932.13, while BRL/COP rose 0.80% to 941.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 92.30.
