Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 3.21% or 9.0 points to trade at 289.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 1.66% or 500.0 points to end at 30600.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.55% or 240.0 points to 15740.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 2.67% or 360.0 points to trade at 13120.0 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 2.21% or 480.0 points to end at 21200.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 2.08% or 6.0 points to 282.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.87% or 1.00 to $116.60 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 4.47% or 106.50 to hit $2276.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.20 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.32% to 3150.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.15% to 839.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.72% at 96.50.
