Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.04% or 380.0 points to trade at 36860.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.03% or 340.0 points to end at 33500.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.73% or 120.0 points to 16560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 2.49% or 600.0 points to trade at 23500.0 in late trade. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 1.75% or 260.0 points to end at 14640.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.30% or 130.0 points to 9840.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.84% or 1.05 to $123.83 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 3.07% or 89.00 to hit $2807.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1305.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.96% to 2832.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.27% to 797.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 92.61.
