Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Property and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.94%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS), which rose 14.81% or 12.00 points to trade at 93.00 at the close. Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (JK:MIDI) added 14.07% or 95 points to end at 770 and Zebra Nusantara Tbk (JK:ZBRA) was up 11.25% or 9 points to 89 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk (JK:BACA), which lost 10.00% or 16 points to trade at 144 in late trade. Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (JK:NOBU) declined 9.92% or 60 points to end at 545 and Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) shed 9.85% or 32 points to 293.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 171 to 135 and 43 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.59% or 0.24 to $41.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.81% or 0.36 to hit $44.54 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.67% or 7.20 to trade at $1085.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.49% to 13628.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.70% to 9961.65.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 99.25.
