Investing.com – Peru equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking & Financials, Electricity and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM), which rose 7.73% or 0.016 points to trade at 0.223 at the close. Atacocha (LM:ATB) added 5.00% or 0.020 points to end at 0.420 and Volcan Minera (LM:VOL_pb) was up 3.19% or 0.030 points to 0.970 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Candente Copper (LM:DNT), which lost 4.00% or 0.0030 points to trade at 0.0720 in late trade. Credicorp (LM:BAP) declined 3.58% or 7.57 points to end at 203.87 and Edegel (LM:EDE) shed 3.33% or 0.080 points to 2.320.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 13 and 10 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $50.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $55.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 4.33 to trade at $1315.13 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2460, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.8824.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 91.62.
