Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 2.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG), which rose 0.09% or 0.05 points to trade at 53.75 at the close. Orkla ASA (OSLO:ORK) fell 0.82% or 0.50 points to end at 60.50 and Yara International ASA (OSLO:YAR) was down 0.96% or 3.4 points to 351.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL), which lost 7.13% or 2.50 points to trade at 32.57 in late trade. Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL) declined 6.97% or 4.3 points to end at 58.0 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS) shed 5.41% or 1.92 points to 33.58.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 135 to 38 and 4 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.30% or 0.61 to $46.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.55% or 0.79 to hit $49.90 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 3.80 to trade at $1120.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.34% to 9.2453, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 8.3125.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 96.41.
