Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.15% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which rose 9.97% or 2.24 points to trade at 24.70 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 9.70% or 2.75 points to end at 31.10 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) was up 7.19% or 1.17 points to 17.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which lost 3.61% or 0.90 points to trade at 24.05 in late trade. United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) declined 3.51% or 2.22 points to end at 61.00 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) shed 1.83% or 1.72 points to 92.25.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 148 to 15 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.79% or 0.46 to $57.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.85% or 0.55 to hit $65.40 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.32% or 15.80 to trade at $1178.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.51% to 4.0780, while USD/SAR rose 0.07% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 97.07.
