Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 1.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST), which rose 22.50% or 450 points to trade at 2450 at the close. Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS) added 15.19% or 48 points to end at 364 and Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) was up 13.50% or 135 points to 1135 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Asiaplast Industries Tbk (JK:APLI), which lost 10.00% or 7 points to trade at 63 in late trade. Greenwood Sejahtera Tbk (JK:GWSA) declined 10.00% or 11 points to end at 99 and Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP) shed 9.94% or 49 points to 444.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 172 to 145 and 38 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.29% or 0.41 to $31.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.55% or 0.17 to hit $31.70 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.17% or 1.90 to trade at $1094.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.07% to 13860.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 9743.60.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 98.98.
