In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.67% or 0.30 to $44.90 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.60% or 0.29 to hit $48.28 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1164.60 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was down 0.34% to 3.0326, while USD/MYR fell 0.63% to 4.2260.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 97.03.
