Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 4.29% or 6.3 points to trade at 153.3 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) added 2.98% or 6.1 points to end at 210.5 and Modern Times Group MTG AB ser. B (ST:MTGBs) was up 2.36% or 5.5 points to 238.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which lost 3.18% or 17.0 points to trade at 518.0 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.10% or 0.73 points to end at 34.00 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) shed 1.75% or 2.20 points to 123.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 327 to 223 and 6 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.48% or 0.22 to $46.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.44% or 0.21 to hit $48.40 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.00 to trade at $1175.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.20% to 9.4062, while USD/SEK fell 0.45% to 8.2847.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 94.82.
