Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V), which rose 2.02% or 0.64 points to trade at 32.35 at the close. TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V) added 1.52% or 0.068 points to end at 4.548 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.46% or 0.150 points to 10.410 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 3.90% or 0.144 points to trade at 3.552 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) declined 3.73% or 0.80 points to end at 20.67 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) shed 3.24% or 0.29 points to 8.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 77 and 10 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.41% or 0.20 to $49.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.69% or 0.32 to hit $46.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.51% or 6.10 to trade at $1181.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.18% to 1.1367, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.7361.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 94.68.
