Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI), which rose 13.79% or 12 points to trade at 99 at the close. Benakat Integra Tbk (JK:BIPI) added 11.25% or 9 points to end at 89 and Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) was up 11.25% or 90 points to 890 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ), which lost 15.44% or 44 points to trade at 241 in late trade. Provident Agro Tbk (JK:PALM) declined 14.29% or 85 points to end at 510 and Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) shed 14.04% or 33 points to 202.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 186 to 143 and 36 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.30% or 0.78 to $58.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.69% or 0.44 to hit $63.15 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1171.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.23% to 13321.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.07% to 10329.50.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 95.95.
