Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 1.17% or 15.0 points to trade at 1295.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 1.12% or 700.0 points to end at 63000.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was up 0.77% or 10.0 points to 1305.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.21% or 13.0 points to trade at 576.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.46% or 500.0 points to end at 33800.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 1.45% or 220.0 points to 14920.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 13 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 2.74% or 3.50 to $131.17 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.52% or 64.00 to hit $1881.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.57 to trade at $1217.53 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.13% to 3044.37, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 948.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 95.52.
