Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Trade and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Dyandra Media International (JK:DYAN), which rose 26.67% or 20 points to trade at 95 at the close. Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI) added 25.00% or 545 points to end at 2725 and Grand Kartech Tbk (JK:KRAH) was up 21.74% or 225 points to 1260 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP), which lost 24.94% or 560.00 points to trade at 1685.00 in late trade. Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk (JK:BSWD) declined 24.93% or 910 points to end at 2740 and Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN) shed 13.33% or 12 points to 90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 173 to 171 and 31 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.28% or 0.17 to $59.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.25% or 0.17 to hit $66.00 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.70 to trade at $1186.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.77% to 13158.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.04% to 10415.50.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 95.17.
