Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Petrochemicals and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which rose 9.56% or 1.64 points to trade at 18.80 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 6.93% or 0.83 points to end at 12.80 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was up 3.79% or 0.73 points to 20.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which lost 4.75% or 2.14 points to trade at 42.90 in late trade. The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) declined 2.04% or 1.90 points to end at 91.25 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) shed 2.02% or 1.07 points to 52.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 117 to 46 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.27% or 0.16 to $58.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.20% or 0.14 to hit $66.59 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.38% or 16.20 to trade at $1190.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.79% to 4.1937, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 95.38.
