Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.39% or 59.0 points to trade at 1403.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.95% or 27.0 points to end at 710.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 3.49% or 5.7 points to 168.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 0.95% or 0.36 points to trade at 37.40 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.59% or 1.70 points to end at 284.30 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 0.58% or 1.5 points to 256.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.51% or 1.61 to $47.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.20% or 1.56 to hit $50.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.80 to trade at $1221.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.8418, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4407.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 99.43.
