Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.71% or 200.0 points to trade at 11880.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.38% or 360.0 points to end at 26360.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.16% or 320.0 points to 28000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which lost 3.02% or 220.0 points to trade at 7060.0 in late trade. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) declined 1.80% or 55.0 points to end at 2995.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 1.63% or 600.0 points to 36200.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 9 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.16% or 2.77 to $131.25 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.16% or 5.00 to hit $3059.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.09% or 12.50 to trade at $1156.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.44% to 2857.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.09% to 759.23.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.49% at 94.93.
