Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 2.13% or 640.0 points to trade at 30680.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 2.10% or 280.0 points to end at 13600.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 1.61% or 140.0 points to 8860.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 7.41% or 440.0 points to trade at 5500.0 in late trade. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 5.97% or 165.0 points to end at 2600.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 5.56% or 90.0 points to 1530.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.45% or 0.55 to $120.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.83% or 28.00 to hit $3384.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 1.06% or 11.40 to trade at $1064.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.84% to 3348.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.72% to 863.35.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 97.70.
