Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD47.12 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.56%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD47.17 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.91 and resistance at USD49.63.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.08% to trade at USD96.70.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.43% to trade at USD53.08 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.96 a barrel.
