Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1200.20 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.35%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1197.80 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1194.60 and resistance at USD1223.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.56% to trade at USD95.98.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.79% to trade at USD16.168 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 0.14% to trade at USD2.660 a pound.
