Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which rose 1.68% or 2.3 points to trade at 139.6 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 0.46% or 1.4 points to end at 308.3 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was up 0.19% or 0.6 points to 309.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which lost 4.70% or 30.0 points to trade at 608.0 in late trade. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) declined 3.26% or 23.0 points to end at 682.0 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) shed 1.79% or 1.55 points to 85.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 51 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.30% or 1.36 to $60.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.61% or 1.71 to hit $67.33 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.89% or 10.50 to trade at $1193.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.85% to 6.6338, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4630.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.74% at 94.41.
